Rockhampton Mobile Mechanic was started by Joel Sheridan who has worked in the area for the last 10 years. With over 15 years’ experience in a variety of fields Joel decided to give it a go on his own.  Fast forward five years we have a team of six, two qualified mechanics, two apprentices, one school-based apprentice and two admin staff. Rockhampton Mobile Mechanic prides itself on being reliable, hard working and honest.

All servicing and repairs are available to be done at a time and place that is convenient for you, whether that be at home or in the workshop. We service all types of vehicles commercial/personal and all machinery. Prices Start at $120/hr for cars, trucks and machinery. Our mechanics use Valvoline oils and lubricants as well as quality filters.

About Us

Joel Sheridan started his journey as a mechanic in the army over 20 years ago, during this time he learnt how to service and repair a wide range of vehicles and machinery. Joel spent time on operations leading small teams of maintenance personnel in the field and in the barracks. Since leaving the army Joel has worked with many companies furthering his mechanical, management and business skills before venturing out on his own.

The business journey began in 2016 where Joel worked from his shed at home, with only one work vehicle, and no other employees. A lot has happened in the last 6 years, Rockhampton Mobile Mechanic now has our two commercial sheds in convenient locations both sides of the river, three work vehicles and six employees.

Rockhampton Mobile Mechanic prides itself on delivering the best service possible, and being reliable, honest, hardworking, and motivated. Our services include mobile roadworthy, servicing and repairs while also working from our workshop at 25A Stanley Street and 72 Richmond Street.
